Banana Dosa (Dadaka )

Ingredient's :

2 cups idly rice
1tsp fenugreek seeds
1/4 cup urad dal
2riped bananas
4-5 tbs jaggery
salt to taste

Method :

1) Wash and soak the rice ,urad dal.and fenugreek seeds for 3-4 hours .
2) Peel and mash the bananas and keep aside
3) Blend the rice to make fine batter .
4) Mix the mashed banana, jaggery and salt and keep batter for 8-10hours .
5) Heat the tava and put little oil, pour 2tbs of banana batter on the tava .Spread alittle.
6) Cook both sides of the dosa in a very medium flame .
7) Serve hot with any Chutney or Gee tastes heaven.Enjoi!!!

Banana Dosa never heard of it.. Will it taste sweet? ! What chutney would be the best combination.. since adding bannana will the batter lost for more than a day ?

and u can keep this batter for 2-3 days i think :)

Hi Mangala, I love this sweet Dose. Next time try it with jackfruit. My mom makes sweet doe with sabbasige soppu and its absolutely delicious.
