Starfruit Apeehuli /Appesaaru( Havyaka Special)

Ingredient's:
2 star fruits
1/2tsp mustard seeds
1tsp urad dal
3 red chillies
4-5 curry leaves
3-4 cloves garlic crushed
salt to taste
jaggery (Optional)
oil

Method:
1)Boil the star fruits with salt and jaggery(optional).
2)Mash the star fruits,add water to bring it to the rasam consistency.Add salt if required.
3)Temper with urad dal,crushed garlic cloves,red chillies,mustard seeds,and
curry leaves .Serve this dish with rice.Enjoi

    We were eating the fruit, when small..never knew 'saaru' can be prepared with this!!..always wondered when I saw this in shops here!.gonna try soon:-)
