


Ingredient's :
1 cup lentils
1 cup whole massor dal
1 large onion nicely chopped
2tbs hunt tomato paste
2 green chillies
1tsp red chilly powder
1tsp jeera/cumin seeds
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric power
pinch of hing
1tsp lemon juice
2tbs oil
1 tsp any masala powder
salt to taste
1/4 cup milk /Cream
salt to taste
coriander leaves
Method :
1) Take a pressure cooker, pour some oil, when it gets hot add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, turmeric powder, hing, slitted green chillies, nicely chopped onion.When it turns golden brown add any masla powder ( i have used 1/2 tsp dal makhani powder ) . Saute this for 3-4 minutes.
2) Then add tomato paste, red chilly powder, washed massor dal, lentils and milk. Add water if required.
3) Cover the lid and let it cook for 3-4 whistles.
4) When dal is cooked nicely, then add salt and lemon juice .
5) Garnish with coriander leaves and enjoi with white Rice or Chapati/Roti of Your choice .!!!:D
