

Ingredient's:
1cup toor dal
1/2 cup frozen methi or fresh
2-3 green chillies
1 onion nicely chopped
1 tomato nicely chopped
1tsp red chilly powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1tsp cumin seeds
2tbs lemon juice
2tbs milk (optional)
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1 pinch of hing
4-5 curry leaves
handfull of coriander leaves
Method :
1) Pressure cook the washed toor dal and methi with 1/2 tsp of turmeric .
2) Heat the pan put oil,cumin seeds, mustard seeds, green chillies chopped, hing,curry leaves,then add the chopped onion,saute this for 3-4 minutes,when it turns golden brown then add chopped tomatoes.
3)Then add the cooked toor dal and methi bring it to boil for 2-3 minutes .Then add the lemon juice,red chillie powder ,milk and chopped coriander leaves .Serve hot with rice or roti .Enjoi!!!:P
